this is such a hard question ?

you have to figure out what you can do the job for.

sometimes there's hills, ditches, a ton of linetrimming, gravel driveways, cars everywhere, Dog Poop, people, trees, water, ponds, dogs,
and location...........

How much weedeating and edging are involved, hard to say without seeing them. I will say my price for my area, minimum charge of 35, will not drop the tailgate for less. The 1/4 acre would probably be 35 and the 1/2 acre would be around 45-50, including weedeating and light edging, blowing off walkway and driveway. In my area when you get past around 50 bucks you have hit the threshold of pain so I stay away from them. I do have some 1 acre that I get a 100 for but these are the few clients that understand the cost of doing this work and don't mine paying. There are foks here that would do my 35 dollar yards for 15 but thats ok, I will not lower my price. Don't sell yourself short but dump the crapsman as soon as you can!

Bohiaa is right... You need to figure out YOUR total costs and then add enough to make a profit, and also worth your while. Don't lowball, just be competitive.
