Heat spots from Fastrak

pj,

I have noticed spots of dead grass from where I've left my Fastrak stopped but running. Is there a heat shield available for it?

Other than the chute & this, it's a great mower. Thanks.

What model do you have?
The 44 / 52 models do have a heat shield, you need to talk to your dealer about getting it installed.
If they don't know about it have them check with their regional service manager, or you can e-mail me and I can get it going from my end.

Pj

Ok.
Have you talked to your dealer?
They can get a shield installed for you.

pj,

I called my dealer (Walker's Mowers), he did not know of the heat shield and he looked into it with Hustler. He called me back to tell me, my machine did not have the heat shield installed. He ordered the kit &#343970.

He said he could do it if I want to bring it in. I've elected to do it myself since it's only 1 hole to drill and a couple of bolts.

He said it will be up to two weeks to get the kit. Can you push on your end.

Thanks for all your help.
