All I got is Deere. Got two new mowers planned for next year and am going to look at Dixie Chopper and Hustler. Scag would be ok but they're too damn expensive!

JD here -- it's as good as any. Cuts tall/wet grass and leaves the property looking sweat.

i didnt read the entire thread, dont have time, but i think they all make comparable machines. i voted other b/c of this...basically the old ford/chevy question(except we all know chevy is better!)

I own a 2008 61" Ferris IS2000 and a 2007 54" husqvarna and also a older 52" Toro and nothing I mean nothing compares to the Ferris the independent suspension makes one hell of a difference. I will never buy anything but Ferris again.
