Here is the front yard of my latest project. This was a great customer he did what ever I wanted. I was involved with this project while the house was being built. I was able to make sure the gables got lit. And this is the project that I did the fixtures in the concrete. It isn't perfect. The right end is kind of lit up funny - There is a boulder there so I couldn't put my fixture out the same distance from the house as all the rest of the up lights. And I would have liked to light up the rock column right next to the garage just left of the weeping evergreen. But all-in-all I am happy with the results

Coverage

I am very impressed with the coverage of those PAR fixtures used by Tommy the Lighting Geek on the structure and trees by the pool. I have been biased against the PAR lamp, but maybe I am missing something here. I am still a PAR virgin but I am going to order some Big Bangs to play with.

Burt, I have always been a big par user. I get better spread with them than I do with the 16s. The ge pars seem to outlast even the MRs too. They are great for certain applications. I am unsure why so many here have an aversion to them, especially when housed in an above grade fixture like the Big Bang.

PARS? Poor guys, I guess next you will want to trade in your ipods for a boom box the size of a coffee table. I think I will trade my Blackberry in for the Cell phone in the briefcase from the mid 80's.
