I'm not sure how I feel about the hi hats as they tend to produce alotta hot spot but the rest of it looks nice

Yeah, that's pretty indicative of most path lighting that is clustered within taller plant material. Photographs tend to accentuate the 'hot spots' also. Elevated downlighting is always preferred, but not always accessible.

Next time try & mount the garage lights in the header and not the soffit. Really no reason to produce so much glare on the 10" of fascia

"Header"?- Are you talking about using a ground fixture and mounting it to the fascia board on the roof facing down?

The soffits are only 6" deep, couldn't be helped that there is going to be some glare- it's manageable.

If your talking about the header directly above the garage doors, those have about 4-5" of reveal (less than the soffit) and the glare would be worse.
