laying sod estimate Help

Well how must should i charge to lay sod in half a yard .....Should I make hip but the grass first ?????? I have to reamove the old grass so was going to rent a sod cutter

how big is the yard? and what kind of sod are you going to be using?

st augustine grass.........well dont really know what the size is yet have not been out there .........But i here that most people charge like $100 a pallet to lay down......but i dont know if i should charge 45 an hr labor or just a flat rate for cuting the old garss and geting rid of it
