Cost of Hydroseeding...

Can someone tell me a rough idea of what it costs for hydroseeding a lawn with about 6,000 sq. ft. I'm looking at subcontracting it out so if you are in the Holland, MI area let me know.

$900-1200 would be a safe range I would think.

It is just the actually spraying the seed, all other prep work would be taken care of.

You will probably find guys that will shoot it for anywhere between $450-600 if its just shooting the seed without prep. We personally would get more for such a small amount of square footage.

ya i'd say with no site prep, just mix and spray would be $500-$650....but it depends on what seeder he is using....we use a 500 gal so thats one load for us but if its being done by a 1200+ gal there might be a surcharge for a small area, like EA Quinn said

I use a 500 gal. tank and 1 would be short. If it was in my area and close to water 5-550, i normally get 300.00 per tank. The trouble with mixing a small amount for second tank is about the same effort as a whole tank, carring material to job.

All good answers. 7-10 cents a square is the norm.
