that's like 3200 sq face feet of hedge. Its probably overgrown to hell.

Tell ya what, go out there, get the $50 up front, then take your truck (assuming you have a nice one with a heavy steel bumper on the front) and drive directly over the whole row. When you get to the end and the guy is at you, ask him "Well, what did you expect to get for only $50?"
