King snake

I stepped on one barefooted once. It was a moonless night and I don't think my feet touched the ground for five minutes afterwards. It's a wonder that I'm not afraid of snakes after that experience.

It was crazy because out the corner of my eye I saw it....just one of those things that catches your attention even though you aren;t paying attention...dont know what I would have done in the morning if it had still been there....but now that I am thinking, I usually knocked all the debris from the day before off and out of my boots before I put them on....but it still would have been a moment for me because it would have caught me off guard....

It's a baby King Snake. They are a man's best friend when it comes to snakes because they can kill and eat poisonous snakes quite often.

Go to youtube and search "King Snake". You'll see one kill a rattlesnake.

Or if you can't remember that; See a snake grab a rake. But it might be faster to shoot the bastard.
