Only reason I mentioned the brickline: If you have soil above the brickledge of the slab, it increases the chance of getting subterranean pests. Also, water from the soil can seep it's way through the weep holes on the brick and wind up in the house. Just something to be careful about. ALways leave a few inches of the slab showing.

I want to say the brick is 4-5 courses below grade.......around the entire home as per its construction 3-4yrs ago. There is no siding, solid house. Correct, don't want to cover holes.

Well it finally happened today. Everybody complained about a lack of rain long enough that we got it and I'm probably going to be off site again tomorrow and Friday since they're calling for more and more. Thanks!

We do need it though. I just hate pulling off a job. What I get for opening my mouth about being ahead of schedule I guess!

Hopefully not too bad tomorrow, break out the rain suits.

We prayed for rain so we got RAIN.

I am trying to get things wrapped up to take off for two weeks of hunting. Headed to Ohio for a week then straight to Illinois for a week.
So things are not getting done for me either, as well as I need them to.

Had the rain not come, we would have been able to get the topsoil, trees and plants installed, with the stone and the tan bark three days ago. Then in 2 weeks install the fence when it comes in.

Now we wait until monday when this crud clears, do it all, and still wait 2 weeks for the fence.

And my wifes jeep, which I had to take today, only has the bikini top on, and my arse is wet!!LOL
