BTW, the walkway pictures are from a phone. I'll be getting better shots later. One thing to note is the cap on the wall. Its not just a bunch of squares. I over set the cap, marked my arc and then cut it to give one nice smooth curve.

Thanks! I used the same mortar as the blue stone. Some of those pictures were immediately after finishing so the join color etc is not consistent vs now that everything is good and dry.

Lost my camera for a few days......I knew it was in a truck, just hadn't bothered looking to see which one while running here and there haha. Here are a few pictures I'm posting but they are mostly just beginning photos. We've completed one and almost the other so I've got some picture taking to do now to update but these will work for now.
Irregular shaped flagstone, wet laid going in here. This is actually the job my customer fell on. |

Todd, is the patio a wet lay? I can't see much detail from the far shots. Also, what do you use for an acid wash?

Yes, both are wet lay. The far shot is of a sand stone colored patio. I will be acid washing it in the morning and closer shots. I didn't realize how they looked until I loaded them.
I Muriatic Acid from Lowe's/Home Depot........hold your breath! |

Question: Do you the acid on the mortared joint? Will that also etch the stone itself?
