This was actually one of my first landscape designs/installs from 3yrs ago that I'm tearing through the middle of! Homeowner loves the Arborvitae and prunes them himself.
No, no bonding agents, nor needed. Ratio is in simple terms........10 shovels of sand, 1/2 bag portland type I/II. No, no stone dust. I hate that stuff. Thanks, project is coming along. The rain hasn't made too much of a mess and we're able to work on top of our work, keeping us out of the mud. Granite border gets started tomorrow but they're calling for more rain and its Thanksgiving. We'll cut out early and go 225 miles south/home. I've got a Bobcat 753 and 60 tons of #57 waiting on me. My church is building an addition and I get to move stone inside of it all day to prep for concrete. So much for time off! I don't mind, its "playing" for me. |

Its sometimes funny he questions I'm asked...........how I mix my mortar, don't forget those forms, why is #57 called #57..........
Forms are pulled, there are a few random, stubborn stakes that will be broken off prior to grading. I read a good book on landscaping before I started this project, so far so good! haha Time to play in the rain........ya'll have a good one and a safe Thanksgiving! |

Weather has been horrible.......rain, rain, rain and rain. Poured the stoop today in in the rain and hope to wrap up the stone tomorrow. Almost 60 degrees tomorrow and no rain!
