yes
they are not much trouble at all, and not having one is just plain dumb. your cost can be as little as $5-10 per month and can reach a lot of people. you can show off your skills and explain why your lco is better than others, you can provide a place to use credit cards, have customers look up your schedule to see when they are going to be mowed next, etc.

Well it's that yin and yang crap, see...
If you don't have one they all think you're poor so that means your rates are cheap. But if you do have one they all think you're rich and that means you can obviously afford it so they don't think twice about skipping out on paying you. Either way however, there are always more than a few who will think of us as a lawn 'boy,' it doesn't appear to make much of a difference there, for those always ready to dote on somebody, you could show up in a limousine and the only difference is you'll get a dirty look, but respect, no.

They can be fun to have too.
It can be like an extension of yourself. Photos, etc.. I like the ones where the owners give some history on themselves like where they are from, hobbies, etc..

You can build one for free using google page creator.
You'll need a gmail account, thats free also. Heres a site I created a week ago using page creator: http://passmyexam.net It's all WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) It's free and easy. No hosting fees or domains to buy. Check it out.

I built my site, Added the meta tags and after a few months was able to get ranked by all the major search engines. I get anywhere from 5-15 leads per week.
It is the ONLY advertising I do. Even If I were to have paid thousands of dollars for a site, and the rankings, it would have been well worth the money.

Depends on your area and customer base.......
I service a lot in the country, most people out here dont have a computer. and my only connection is satalight...... also, I have a lot of elderly customers and you know how that is..... Y most of my'ens customersens doesnts kno what a computter issss... it would be worthless for me....
