Rock Work

Can any one out there, explain how to bid rock work around flower beds?

It's no different than any other work. Figure out how much rock you need, what the customer wants and then try and work out how many hours it will take. It just takes practice and most of us learn on the job.

Don't be afraid to add hours for the unknown or easy to forget details.

Set yourself off from the competition by talking about how you'll put landscape fabric and make sure the rock is over 4" to block out the sun from the base of the rock bed...to prevent weed growth, etc...

Visit a web site that'll give way more info...go to google...well, you know the rest.
