How much? Need hep with bid.

this property measures about 180 ft x 300 ft give or take.

Average sidewalks and a bit in the middle that is a playground. The current guy doesn't have the right equipment and thier not happy with the service. Mow, trim and blow only, no bushes, fert, or weeding. Thier current guy is charging $100 per cut.

I would say at least $120. If you do a better job than he has been doing, they won't mind the price increase a bit.

Hard to tell what work is required to do the playground area. If it's not needing much attention. I could easily show profit for what the current
guy was charging. But, I do have to agree with MJS. It just depends on
what your rates are and if you want the job. How long do you figure it'll
take you from start to finish?

I normaly charge 30-35 per hour. I am pretty sure I can knock it out in 3 hours tops, I am calculating 1 hour mow, 1 hour trimming and 30 minutes to blow, so i really think I can do it 3 hours tops. Just wanted to make sure that I'm not off base with the price. Its a non-profit orginaztion, but I still need to make a profit. I am thinking about charging $150 for the first cut because the edges are a little overgrown and then going with $125 per cut every two weeks.

Yeah but that's because nobody cares and it shows, and I don't mean the current guy per se but that's always the end result.
Because if the customer doesn't care, neither does the Lco, plain and simple.

That ain't even a lawn, it's nothing but crabgrass and weeds and dirt and the bushes are way past needing a trim (I think they're crape myrtles, maybe azaleas, not sure) so you should quote at least 120 then they can rest somewhat assured it will be done right.

I would say 140 and pay in advance, but that's just me.

From what I see there, I would charge $125 per cut. If you believe you can get it done in 3 hrs the first time, then it will drop to just over 2 when you are comfortable and get more efficient at it.

They aren't satisified In this case I would go to $150 and see how bad they want it improved. If this is a church they will find someone in the the church to do it anyway, probably why it is so bad now..
