What kind 52 hydro oil

I am changing the oil on my lesco 52 hydro for first time. It says use 20W50
on the mower. This is motor oil though. Should I use 20W50 motor oil or should I be using hydralic oil?

Most use 20W50 engine oil, Follow what the mower states.

The oil tank on the mower does say 20W50 but it just says "oil" it does not say "motor oil" that's my confusion. Is there a 20W50 hydralic oil is really the question I have. I don't want to put something in that may damage the seals.

I have never seen a 20W50 hydro oil, MOST all mower hydro systems use 20W50 "motor oil". If they wanted hydro oil used it would say "Use Hydraulic Oil Only".
