cratsman problems

my crafstman 6.73 hp self perpeled will start wit no problems when it is cold but after it is heated up for a while and i let it die.it wont stat up again.even just walk it into the backyard.also i just changed the spark plug,air filter,and oil like ten hrs ago.what could it be.

My guess would be something with the fuel. Pinched line? no fuel going into the carb? But, you get what you pay for.

it's the coil.....


there NOT using points anymore.... there is a modgule that takes it's place it's in the coil.....

once this issue starts it will never end....

check to see that your flywheel is giving you proper cooling.... if there is 1 chip it will ruin the coil.....

you can also..."for testing purposes" use the machine, stop it ..... take a blower to it for a while and it WILL start up again....

I had this issue on several machines.....
