It might be just me but I have never found the reason for putting lights on a mower. Is it just for finishing a job if you run out of daylight? There is no way I would set out to mow after dark or before sunrise. People would think I was crazy. No telling what you might run over hiding in the grass. Just seems like it would be a great liability. Like I say if your just trying to get finished it would be fine. If I look at my watch and see lighting is gonna be a issue I'll just bump them to the next day. It's hard enough trying to keep a line in heavy shadows but I would imagine using artificial light would drive you crazy. If it was a lighted ball field would be the only way I'd consider doing it.

where did you get the lights. And how did you hook them up to your battery? I have no knowledge of how to do this. Could you explain what you did and how they're mounted?

i got the lights at walmart. auto zone has some better ones for the same price, found that out when i went to get a better togel switch. the lights have a ground on them that goes on the light mount bolt. then the hot goes into the togle switch then out to the battery. the back one is mounted to the top of the motor cage, the front one is mounted to a peice of angle iron i bolted to the front of the mower.
