Can't make em think up a great design. Sometimes the easiest projects are when they say "I want this here and that there." I never claimed to have designed any of those! Not everyone works the same way.

Thanks for the encouragement, I took the photos down so I can post some new, updated ones.

Actually I do like the grass and curbing. It does look great. The guys around here that do curbing don't use that style of curbing. They use the same ole boring mold over and over. See anyone can be critiqued about there work or design. So there was no use in slamming me for helping someone if you didn't want to get slammed back. But like I said I was impressed with the curbing and sod. Just not the plants.

That sod was probably the best I ever had. I wasnt knockin your designs, just the implication that you were doing them for free, as long as it was for a "fellow landscaper." At any rate, its all good.

Now that thats over with...

Tax avoidance, not evasion.

I write things off, and strategically purchase things that I can write off.

I don't have a website, all of my work is word of mouth. There is no need for a website in my market.

It's people like you who make this site annoying, commenting on other people's business practices. Those 3 designs in black and white I did, the one in color I had done by an LA here in town.

We can fuss and fight all we want, but we are all in this for the money and to make a living and to provide for our families. We'll see in 20 years where we both stand I guess.

A rip rap wall was the cheapest solution for the application in that area, and it is exactly what the home owner wanted. 145' distance, ranging from 4-6' in height.

Someone give me a price tag on a 145' wall, at 6 ft tall in a periodically swamped area.

I promise you that was the best solution for a wall that no one sees.

No-one said I was a know it all either, just know that you use scraggly looking plants on your job site from the pictures. Like I said the person can look at my simple plan and figure out what shrubs he needs in it. You did not see me give a list of materials. As for using spell check, I figured you would understand it better if I didn't. With pictures like that on your web site there is no doubt that it does not make you any money. There is a right and wrong way to say something, what the other guy said was just rude in my opinion and so are you. But there has got to be some underline reason in ones life that makes them that way. As for as helping you with your up coming jobs, Someone surely needs too. For GOD's sake take a course or something. You might want to stick to the sod and curbing.

Fired up and ready to roll

We cant always sell the $5000 engineered planter, or the beautifully designed planter up against the house in the backyard, or acres of flowing plants and turf. Not everyone has unlimited budget and none of us have always had so much work that we only take the best of the best jobs. Lets all go on about our business and do what works for us!

I did get fired up, its all good! I'd have done the same from either side.

Apparently you may not have read some of the other stuff I posted. And some plants here in the desert at 115 degrees are scraggly at times, get used to it if you are going to do my design work!

And its truce, not truths, but whose counting?
