I'm big on white because like you said I think it looks professional. I'm sure like everyone else mentioned it must keep cooler...never really even thought about that. It looks awesome with simple green logos. I get compliments from friends and customers all the time saying that it looks like I'm a huge company even though I am not yet one and that it looks so professional.

It depends on the trim level you're getting (base, Limited/Lariat, etc). Base version, plain white. Others I tihnk these are the best colours: white, beige/sand brown, forest green, navy blue. Colours like black, red, medium blue, medium green are too flashy for a work truck and are hard to keep clean.

Also make sure all the vehicles are the same colour, as mentioned before. This keeps a professional image for you.

Thats just my $.02

seems that with clear coat when it rains it washes the tuck.
all of our trucks are white with the same logo.
if we buy a used truck that is NOT white, we send it off to the body shop for a cheap "work truck" paint job.

by keeping all your trucks the same color and same logo, you will get name recognition in your market much faster. It also makes your fleet look much larger than it really is.
We have 7 trucks, but people swear we have at least twice that many.
dingo tx425 and lots of attachments.
8 Vehicles
5 trailers
bobcat T200
way too much other crap

Our truck is gunmetal gray with a green logo. Green similar to the background here on lawnsite, a bit more forest green really stands out on a darker color. If you have A/C, go for any color you like. If you don't have A/C, then white.

We'll probably stick with our current color scheme if expansion is ever in the works.

I was thinking of painting my truck a bright green. I want to standout. That way people will remember me and say "hey I see him all over town. He must do good work."
What do you think good or bad idea?
White is the standard that I am going with now.
Are bright green trucks not professional?

And in our area......white is a little cooler. Almost all the full time companies in lawn business and other business have white. At local Chev dealer he must have 300 white work trucks of every configuration sitting there.

We have all rde trucks, besides one black truck , its going to go get painted soon, I hope.

We have some sweet decals, My sign guy dose all my trucks, he dose pin-striping, and my logo and stuff, its all done with paint not, the only decal is the gold leaf we use. looks real sharp, i'll try to snap a few shots of the truck and post it for you.
