What do you think

I am bidding a job and it has bulit light on every tree in the yard he want the trees lit what i was thinking is changing the lens in the bulits to red and do a white lits on the tree or do one or the other.

my opinion I'd go with straight christmas lights. Red lights in bullits don't show up the greatest. (unless I'm not using good bulbs)

-I'd rather do red minilights and do red bulb or turn off the light. another option is red and clear mini lights together to form a candy cane effect.

we do a few with lenses. The problem with alot of systems are they are drastically under volted and the colors just do not show up well. One house we do is a white house and the color is very evident. Its more on a per case basis. I get my lenses from Florida Outdoor Lighting and charge for the lens and installation then about 2.50 per light (30 lights at one prop) to take them out and wrap em and store em.

Christmas lights will offer a much bigger punch that tinting the low voltage will.
