husqvarna ztr?

I have a husqvarna dealer 30-45 min away, is it worth the drive to have a husqvarna ztr?

Is that your scag in the picture by your login name ?, I cant tell if its a cub or a wildcat, I have the same set up ( cub and 3 bag grass catcher ) just wondering if something happend that would turn you off the scag brand.

Take this advice wait for the 08 or 09's to come out before you seriously consider them. There not bad now but got information the new ones will be a lot better. Can't wait to see them for myself.

|I don't think they are good enough to drive 30 minutes, look at something else, you can't go wrong with scag.

My uncle has one, I think it's a 4218. Absolute junk. There is some kind of cable linkage between the handles and transmission. It's 2 years old and he's had to replace one or the other of those cables 4 times. He's using it for his house, not comercially.

Adrianrog if you are refering to a ZTR that would of been a consumer unit. First year Husqvarna made a consumer unit they used cables. After that disaster they went with solid linkages and improved those units quite a bit. For the Consumer Z Husavarna has one of the best units out there. However the commercial lines are not the best. 08 model year has had a number of things fixed so they are much better than previous years. Depends on dealer support and what dealers are around. It is never bad to go check out and see what is around for mowers. Get exposure to all types then pick what suits you needs best.
