Ferris/Scag

Peter, was just wondering if the GCSCAXL would fit an 03 feris 1500? I see you reccomend GCSCXL for my model, but because the decks are the size I didn't know if it would fit. The basis for this question is a can get a good deal on one if it will fit from my dealer. Thanks
Lewis

Hi Lewis,

The GCSCA is very specific to the Advantage 36 and 48 decks. It is a no bracket model that uses the geometry of the Scag to get a good fit. If you were going the other way and had a GCSC for a ferris, you could use it on the Advantage deck with a bracket. We almost discontinued the GCSCA last year because it only fits on these two mowers, but people really seem to like the no bracket setup on it, so we kept it in the lineup.
