Monday Night Football Game

Did u guys see tonights Pittsburgh Steelers game? The field got absolutely destroyed! It was soaked and everyone was sliding every which way. Not very Safe. I bet they will have to re-sod for next week.

The field conditions were unreal!!! They had just laid that sod ontop of old sod.
Did you see some of those divots in the field?

sod on top of sod.....atleast 2 inches of rain laying on the feild....and something like 4 or 5 high school games played on the feild over the weekend

the new sod was just finished being put down yesterday before the game that sod was a waste of 100k

yeah I never understood why coaches allow the AD's to lay sod on top like that. Waste of money and risks injuries....Just get out the spray paint and paint it green so I looks good for TV...

I think their decision to resod through the night came back and bit them as only 3 whole points where scored in the last 20 seconds. All I watched were the last 17 seconds and that wasn't even worth watching.

Maybe they'll think twice about having the High-School championships there next year.

I find it hard to beleive they let so many games be played on that field in mid-seaon NFL.

Its probably all about $. I think some really poor decisions were made (of course its easy to say that after having seen the mess!). I'll bet the grounds supervisor resisted putting in the sod, but got overuled by the bigwigs. Now he's the guy who'll probably get blamed for the poor conditions.
