normally we plant trees 3-6" above grade, travtrees noted that my backend was higher. this is because (though the pics don't show well) this tree was on the backend of a brim. the original tree died because it wasn't watered over the summer, city had a guy who said he was doing it, but it looked doubtful. No i don't normally dump trees in the woods... the city is handling the clean up, I normally take my crew w/ me and we handle cleanup, mulching, and whatnot. but I was doing this in conjunction w/ the city's crew. i asked what to do w/ it (thinking they'd let me run it over to their waste site, but they said put it in the woods... done.)
