i use a 1/4 ton Nissan frontier crew cab short bed. i haul a 6 by 16 ft. trailer-full of crap. its the best truck i've had and when i trade up it will be the same type just newer.

I use a half-ton, but I think that the normal is 3/4 ton trucks.
