I thought OASE was a pump company. I know that they have lights for those pumps but aren't they made by someone else?

How do you differentiate between a manufacturer and a distributor?
Some that are listed are OEM "manufacturers" meaning they have no manufacturing facilities and have another party manufacture for them (usually overseas , Mexico or south America) for private label. Some of these so called manufacturers share some of the exact same fixtures to the T . I would call them distributors.

Doesn't really say if they make them or distribute them, but I just asssumed.

I wasn't necessarily referring to Oase as they primarily serve the water market . I meant some of the names on the list which are questionable as to whether they should fall within the "lighting manufacturer" heading.

This is quite a list! Great work so far guys... feel free to add more as you discover them.

There is no doubt that a few of the names on that list are not exactly manufacturers, more like re-packagers and marketers, but that is ok as we know who they are.

It should be fun to go down the list and google those names that you have no experience with.... might just find some hidden gems.

Happy New Year.

I had never heard of Night Orbs before. Pricey little bobbers...

I think that might be what is installed in the reflecting ponds in front of a local community theater.

BTW, I think the overall lighting portrait leaves a lot to be desired.

I agree Gregg, it does leave room for improvement. Maybe you should talk to them or show them what it could look like.

I think it's a nice clear photograph though.
