It seems to be a product made from or with humic acid. It's alot cheaper to purchase the humic acid by itself and apply it.

If you dig a little deeper it doesnt do much because anything beneficial is locked up tight. I use a liquid humic acid, it works right away, a small amount goes a long way

Organic Approach has a raw leonardite product called HumAmend, as well as various grades of liquid and dry humates. LC-12, LC 10+7 (with micros) are some liquid products along with SP-85, SP-90 and SP100 (micron sizes) on the dry side.
I have used HumAmend as a soil amendment. Applied at 10lbs per k (at least), I've seen pretty good results over the course of a few months. It's not going to give instant results (it's not supposed to). It creates a healthy soil structure and to chelate nutrients so the turf can absorb them more readily. |
