Looks like Griffith has some good selections. Have you ordered from them?

Anyone else have sources for liners. I just ordered from the Liner Farm in Florida and plan on using Griffith in the future.

Are you guys growing your own material, do you install or sell at your nursery?
On average how long does it take the material to reach 3 & 7 gallon sizes?
What are your biggest challenges?

I install and have a retail nursery. I have started growing things that I have noticed the growers are short on and stuff that I have not seen and want to try. I have also noticed a lot of growers don't want to sell 1 gal. because they can bump to 3s and in 1 month double the money. Who can blame them, but I have some cheap customers that like to buy 1 gal. This is why I have started liners. Also I'm into unusual. I get tired of the tried and true. I want to be able to tell my customers that their neighbors won't have that. Besides I am competing with big box and feel that I should be different in my items than them.

Really depends on what you are growing. I would say from liner to 1 gal takes around 3 months?? Liner to 3 gal around 5-8 months?? Perrenials generally grow fast. Some woodies will take a lot longer. We use lots of slow release fert. Weeds would be the biggest challenge. Haven't quite beat that hurdle yet. Could use some advice on how to prevent weeds without costing a fortune either in labor of chemicals. I just love to see things grow.
