Organic mole control ??? any ideas?

I have a customer that wants to know how to get rid of moles. I suggested milky spore. She said she had tried that about 5 years ago and it didn't work well. I said it wasn't instant like pesticides but was better with a little patience. Just was wondering if anyone has any other organic means of control? something she could do easily?

I would imagine right now up there in vermont a mole would have a tough time burrowing through the frozen soil.
Moles or voles? one likes to eat bugzzz and the other likes to eat roots, both leave a similar mound on top of the soil.
I have heard, but no personal experience, that castor oil sprayed on the yard makes them move out of the area. It doesn't kill them just moves them.

We have used Whole Control or Scoot! with good success (both are castor oil). The qt sized bottles have a hose end attachment so you hook it up to the hose and go. You can buy gallon refills as well. Like Bill said, it will not kill them, but disrupts their digestive system and makes the soil taste bad. Apply spring and fall for best results.

Nope....I was at a meeting to get my credits to keep my licenses in Grantville, PA yesterday. Our arborists are at the ISA show in Lancaster today.

Well Y'all,

We got some damn big moles up here in Canada so I'm not sure if they are the same species but we trap them with a trap called a black hole. It's like a short length of pipe with a scissor spring trap in the middle. You need to dig a little into an active mound and insert the trap so the mole needs to go through it to go out or along its tunnel. Works pretty good. Also good for ground squirrels and pocket gophers.
