What's the best book for Small Engine repair?

For the kind of engines we use in lawn care. Both two cycle and 4 cycle all the way from 6HP to 19 HP?

I want to try and learn a few things.

well,

depends on what you are looking to learn.

If you want to know how to change the oil, spark plug , filters, ect........you may find that online.

If you want to know how to fix things on specific models, you needs hands on experience and certifications.

Fixing small engines is more than changing an air filter and spark plugs. Any idiot can do that. Diagnosing and trouble shooting and being able to repair the problem the first time is the difference.

A lot of info is available on the "net". You can get engine repair manuals from Kohler by going to their website and downloading them to your computer and print out what you need. If you dig around a manufactures website, sometimes you can find repair info under their support link. I'd go with the manufacturers manual instead of some of the general type manuals you can get. Amazon.com has a good list of engine manuals.

Life is an unrelenting comedy. Therein lies the tragedy of it.
