How much oil?

Does anyone here know how much oil to put in my 1996 Toro 325D running a 3cyl Mitsubishi diesel engine. I'm changing oil and filter, bought it used with no manual, and have had no luck looking around online. Thanks

Just put 1/2 quart in a time after the 1st full quart, then keep checking the dipstick

Sorry for the double post, I meant to put one in commercial. I just measured the oil that came out of it and put the same back in (then confirmed on the dipstick). For the record 4 quarts.
