landscape & mow?

Just curious how many of you guys do just landscape work or do most of you landscape as well as mow?

We do both but more landscaping if you have yearly conracts that is guarunteed income for the slower months that you hope you don't have.

We get about 25 cuts on a good year in Baltimore I need to do other things

we do mostly mowing services all year long , with our climate we work all year long. we do installs when they come up but our area is packed with installers ...so we target the mowing.

Only design and install, its the way to go, I cant stand sitting on a mower and there is way too many guys trying to mow

We do both. I prefer landscaping and it pays better, but mowing is usually the 'foot in the door'. Mowing has lower margins, but technically profitable. The big knock on mowing is the quantity of competiion, but the reallity is very few of them have the machinery, financial capital, or knowledge to compete in the landscape genre.

we also do both. we only cut 3 days a week 80 stops.
