PG Magnum and 3 Way how much?

For all of you with a PG Magnum and using 3 way w/Ester for cool conditions, how much are you using per tank in ounces to get good results? I have it figured that I would need to use approx 45 ounces per tank to have a good heavy application and then back off on next appliccation for a lighter app of what is left.

How many square feet are you spraying with a 12gal tank?
What does the label say for the application rate oz per 1000sqf?

Do the math and you have your answer.

My math says 45 ounces but I am asking what people are actually using and results from that.

If a tank covers 50,000 sqft--if you use 1.29 ounces per thousand feet--then use 64.5 ounces.

However, I no longer use Three way Ester II, because I found that it settled out overnight. No agitation in tank. Make sure it is well-suspended every morning. I switched to Lesco Eliminate.

The PG manual has a chart based on how fast you travel 143 ft. So if your traveling said distance in 23 sec. and the required amount of herbicide is 1.5 oz. Then you would mix at 5.57 oz p/gallon. You can get manuals at www.permagreen.com

The thing I have realized with the magnum is I am only getting about 38-40000sqft with each tank. I don't know about everyone else but I haven't been able to get my PG to spray at the maximum it states. I had the ultra before and it would spray much wider with no shield or tires to block any spray. I am trying 3 way ester since I have always used momentum but momentum is so slow.

45 oz is super low for ester through a magnum, 65 oz is more in the ballpark if your'e looking for a heavy app.
