We have 4 PG's. They all put out different amounts. (28k to 40k per tank)

Measure your coverage at the gear speed you plan on using. Write the rate on the tank for future reference.

red zone

Was turned on to Red Zone Herbicide last year, seems to work better than 3 way . Run it in my pg also 60 oz per 12 gal.

Be sure you are using the correct nozzles. Clean the screen in the tank. Clean the screens in each of the nozzle bodies. Check the output in ounces in 15 seconds for each of the nozzles with the throttle at wide open. (Mulitply by 4 to get ounces per minute.) Don't use two nozzles at once.

Drive a course for 1 minute and measure how many sqft you cover in one minute. Using the width the spray covers as best you can measure,(allowing for a little overlap). You should be able to find your ounces per 1000 sqft. And sqft per gallon. Let us know.

It should work better as it has some added chemistry.

If I remember right...... the RED ZONE has carfentrazone in it (or I may be thinking of another product). But you also have to look at the added cost.

Not really comparing apples to apples. Just wanted to point that out.

You might look as in my area...it is much cheaper to run 3-Way and add the Carfentrazne (Quick Silver) seperately.

I then run 50 oz of 3-Way and 1-1.5 oz of Quick Silver. You might just price it and see where you are at.
