Wrire off Internet charges?

I was reading another post when it was brought up that Lawn Site is "research and developement"... Hmm..

Seems like we should be able to write off Internet charges on taxes.
Has anyone tried this?

I'll run it by my tax guy when I get a chance. Of course it sounds bad when you're telling someone, " Yeah, I got on the internet, joined a discussion forum and learned how to cost out my equipment and bid effectively..."!

Bill

I have a website and send out news letter to my customers so the computer and all related expense is a write off. I go to college at night so all related expenses are a write offs; mileage and even dinner out. (at mickey Ds). As a business owner you can write off a lot of things. Monthly on-line costs are a reasonable write offs. But check with your Tax Man.
