Ditto that......the beds are starting to fill up with little weeds every where even on the lawns that have a company doing the shrub and pest control. I would assume that most would put down a Pre-emergent but I do not see any granules down either....means more round up duty for me.

They probably thought it was going to stay cold like last year. Spring will be early IMO. The game is afoot already. I have 2 estimates for bed rehab and lawn service. I'll post how it goes.

I am hoping that you are wrong about spring being here early, but have a feeling that you are right. I got a little sunburn on my face today, which means its time for sunscreen, which means its time for gatoraid, which means its....you know what I am saying.

I am planning ahead for a early spring. I have been visiting clients homes that I know need turf replaced because of late cinch bug damage. Many I have already prepared for the price, but I am now in the process of sending them formal estimates with their monthly invoice with a price for EARLY spring sod jobs.

I am wondering if Sod is going to be hard to get a hold of like it was last year after the hard freezes. Got a feeling it is going to be.

Got 2 inches of rain here today following getting pounding most of the day on Monday. Soil Temp is sitting around 68 degrees which mean with the combo of rain - the turf is most likely going to start growing again. Was kind of looking forward to a couple more weeks of driving by properties. What the hell!

I'm ready to get back to work. Going to be chilly again Monday. Saw some perfect examples of right and wrong Crape care, of course camera was dead.

I am seeing that most of my st. aug lawns are starting to get some new growth. I am glad that these yards are starting to come back.
