26efi throttle positioning sensor.

Hey guys I got a 26 efi that fouls plugs within a few hours. It blows puffs of black smoke and used oil. The diagnostic reads clear. Could the tps nead reset.

well, if it smokes black, that means that it's gettin' too much fuel into the carb.

that is what it sounds like to me.

have you had any battery problems? weak? slow start? loose connections?

make sure all your connections and grounds are clean and tight.

also, if it uses oil, that will foul out the plugs time and time again. I'd get that fixed quick, if i knew what it was!
