We could almost start a new discussion on the topic... Which is better for the price, IBDU, or MU/UF? of course temperature may be a deciding factor.

I wouldn't say SOP is highly soluble. Its soluble, but MOP is definitely more soluble than SOP.

I've read the literature on Lebanon's MESA, and they claim the K, is more "slowly available". Is it just this type, or would it be safe to assume that all homogenous ferts release the P and K more slowly.

The southern blend that you describe is virtually non-existent around here. It does sound like a great blend, though. All you see around here from Scotts, is junk formulations for Joe Homeowner like 28-3-3 and so forth...basically worthless. The Lesco fert. that is sod at the Home Depots is not a high quality, either. This is mixed and packaged specifically for the Home Depots. It is nothing likethe ferts bought at the Lesco locations.

Maybe it is just a coincidence, but I have noticed 4 or 5 people with 1 post bragging about Lesco. I guess they either have great products, or they pay people to mention their name.
