GLC,
I saw the new Grasshopper Midmount at the NEGROWS trade show in Boston a few weeks ago. As for the nuts and bolts of it, I can't tell you. They changed the looks on it and it now finally looks like a standard midmount z rider.(Exmarks, Toros, Bobcats) Very nice styling!

Go to www.grasshoppermower.com and either e-mail or call them. Ask them to send you a brochure on the new mid-mount or all of their products. I've already received a brochure on the new model, so I know they're available.
----------
Doc Shank
The Woods mid-mount mower is in no way the same machine as the Grasshopper. The Woods mid-mount mower is manufactured by Ariens or Gravely. Grasshopper used to make the Woods front deck mowers years ago, but not since 1995 or 1996. They're still in a court battle because Woods is having another company (Ariens or Gravely) make their front deck mowers on the Grasshopper design. Their hydro drives are inferior and can't compare with Grasshoppers G2 hydro system. That's one reason I didn't buy a Woods Mow-N-Machine. Plus I personally would rather buy a product from a company that makes their own machines, instead of having someone else make them then paint them another color and put different decals on them.
----------
Doc Shank
