anytime you seed a pre-emergent cant be applied till after the new seed has grown and been cut once or so as far as i know on all chemicals except a couple of products that are made to work with new grass seed. i can t seem to recall the name as i dont use them very much, due to high price.

tupersan, that is the name of one of the products to use with seed. read carefully and apply it two times at the right rate, if you are a little light i have found it does not work so well. you will get some breakthrough compared to a standard pre em, but if grass seeding is needed, it works well enough.
