Our mowing officially starts on monday, cleanups until then. Some accounts could use a cut now though.

I decided to mow my lawn yesterday and also did my first cleanup too!
And now I've came down with a dumb cold that's what you get when you don't wear your jacket!!!

Question: does anyone know a better source to get topsoil, mulch, sand or triple mix besides going with the big bag place (less mess Inc) that gets delivered wherever you want for $115.00?

Ya man those things are expansive, in my area they are called the big yellow bags. Basically they will ship it out for free, 1 big bag of top soil (1 cubic yard) for 115$ ish. Now I get my own compost that I use for top dressing lawns, it contains 1.4 nitrogen, 1 phosphor and 1 potassium, 25$ a yard. It beats Scott's soil by far, they charge 6$ for a tiny bag that contains like .08 of nutrients.

Just try to find a local supplier of landscape materiel, I'm sure you will. But those yellow bags are garbage to be honest, full of weeds, not a lot of nutrients also.

I know a few places where you can get stuff but it is a bit costly. Someone told me about a place near me so I will try that place since they are family owned and they might have lower prices.

Man that's a lot for top soil. We sell it it for 35/yard minus the super sac(that's what there called here). I do do it in the sac as well but for 65.
