Heard some talk of speedzone, and then some adding quicksilver to their 3 way mixes what does this help to control. What is everyones best combo mixes for post emergent control. Im in northern ohio.

we add quicksilver to three-way for more rapid response. It controls a whole host of weeds including thistle, wild violets and other hard to kill weeds. We use the combination for cold weather applications. Good response within 24 hours with good burn down. Quicksilver is rain fast in about an hour also. It works well.

Well said!

Also...a great selling point when going againt the CL boys and others!

I look for Wild Violet in lawns when going against the big boys!

Automatic sale because the big boys won't put QS in the tank because they are already losing money....so they can't increase their cost!

To those who spray Quicsilver from the PG.

How did you figure out the mix rate. Being that so little is needed w/ Quicksilver?

Not sure I follow your question?

I add 1 oz of QS per tank load or 12 gallon.

Is that what you are asking?

Kinda, for example 3 way is mixed @1.5 oz normally but in the PG Based on your travel speed is mixed anywhere from 4 -6 oz. How did you come up w/ 1oz. for Quicksilver? Thanks, i appreciate the input

You speed doesn't have anything to do with your mix rate as long as you know what your rate is. Yes your speed can change your gallons/k, but your rate/given area is always the same (label).

If a PG covers an acre for example (actually it is just slightly a little more) and you use QS at 1 oz/acre....then you add 1 oz to the PG.

We still use 1.1 oz/K of Three Way also.

Example:
43.5 sq ft/tank x 1.1 oz of Three Way= 48 oz/tank
And also add 1 oz of QS
