Neary blade sharpener & balancer (pics)

Neary brand sharpener with the Lesco name on it and balancer. Both for $240. You pay for shipping from 67204 or you can pick it up. Runs fine and has reverse. 1/2hp and 1725rmp.

The sharpener has a handle to crank the motor up and down, but did not show up in the picture. Here are the specs on the motor. You might have to zoom in to see the info.

Here's a pic of the balancer. I don't know the brand, but it's heavy duty.

I can get pics if you want, but it's a Walker 52" deck with mulch kit. Comes with two of the double blade kits, mulch kit, blades (around 12) and an extra (new) belt. I bought it with 100 hours on it and put maybe 75 or 100 more. It's the newer style splined shaft. A friend used it a week last (2007) November and said it cut great. He didn't want a used one and bought a new one for $2400. I am asking $1200 for this one. I will put it on a skid and strap it, but you pay for shipping or you can pick it up locally from Wichita, KS 67204.

How well does this work on mulching blades??

There is actually a kit that you can buy for sharpening mulch style blades. I use run the blade and usually for the flat part of the blade and just pick it up and run the wavy part through. I only have one mower (my 21") and only use it on a couple lawns so I didn't need to sharpen that blade very often.

I put it on the bathroom scale and it came up just over 45 lbs.
