"NEW Thomas Mini-skid"

Thomas Equipment has come out with a new mini-skid.

it looks like an orange Ramrod, but they have made alot of changes.

* New bigger drive pumps
* Nicer controls (not jumpy, very smooth)
* Hose covers

to name a few

Plus, Thomas quality control and service!!

Production starts in Jan.

Can't wait to play with one

check out

tried one out last week, right after testing a RamRod. Found the controls to be the jumpiest of any machine yet (Ramrod, Dingo, Kanga, Thomas) that I've demoed. 2 speed pump is nice and the single joystick for the boom/attachment plate is easy to operate. Pricing is inline with everything else but both the wheeled and track machine are limited to a noisy Kohler air cooled 25hp engine.

Has anyone seen the new vermeer mini skid steer. I saw one at the ne grows show Friday. It seems like a well built machine. There was also a dingo with the backhoe attachment. It was nice looking and if it does what they say, it would be very useful.

saw the new vermeer at the Landscape show in Toronto, impressive little unit, semms to be 2500 bucks more than the rest and no tracks available.

I watched someone use a dingo with a backhoe once, awefully hard to move the dingo around with the backhoe on the front but once in place it did a great job of digging.
