Thinking about buying an eXmark Tracer Hp or something similiar

Hi,

Has anyone out there used the eXmark Tracer HP with ECS. I am thinking about buying one with a 52" deck and probably the 17hp Kawasaki engine. I am not commited at this point. If anyone has input on any other models that will perform as well or better I would appreciate it. Also I am thinking about getting a Velke as well. I have a couple of walk behinds now but have never used a Velke. If there is a particular brand/style that stands out please let me know.

Thanks for any help you can give me ,

Ed

We have the 48 and it cuts good and we have had no problems with it yet .We got it just before the season started in the spring .
We have put 900hrs so far.I would think the 52 would cut even better.
I would advise you to demo two or three brands
see each ones good points and bad points
good Dealer support is someything you want make sure of to

My experience with exmark customer service and the quality of product has been exceptional. I tried the ECS at Louisville. Not bad!

I purchased a 48 this year after having some demo's. I have been extreamly pleased with this machine. After using other mowers I couldn't wait to get back to the exmart. Also have a retail shop close by and they are very professional. Good choice if you ask me!

All Exmarks cut great. No matter deck size.

I have sevaral 52" Turf Tracer 22-23hp (not the HP's)

Velke will take a lot of walking off and let you mow faster.

I would suggest if your going to look at the TT's look at the 23hp ones. Lots more horse power, electric balde clutch, electric start, hour meter, wider stance all worth the extra money. You will not be disapointed.

I have no expeirance on the ECS.

LGF, just curious, why 52" instead of 60"?

Jerry,
The 23hp TT (full size) is available w/ ECS; it's new for 2002.

You can get all the exmark W/B's with ECS now. I have two tthp's w/ ECS a 48 and a 36. Love them! the 36 was a little light in the front ( would wheelie after letting out on the levers ) but I added some weight and it does fine.
