No but that would be awesome. My route is very tight, thank God. My furthest drive is six minutes. I also have several sections where there are six to ten customers in one stop. I also only take out the truck out. No trailer. Can drive a little faster. Like I said most of my lawns are so small that when I use the spreader, I can do both neighbors as well. HAHAHA

I've never hit 1,000 fert accounts. I started with 0 and was just a 23 yr old who had done fert work for another company to get through school. in 4-5 yrs I grew to a little over 600 fert clients, and added a mowing truck, just because I got tired of turning work away. It was nice in a way, but I wasn't a very good manager, and I got tired of having to fix work that my employees had done. I raised my prices, cut out clients that weren't fairly close, dropped to 420 fert/spray clients and 40 mowing clients. I could do that with 1 truck. I would spray by myself Mon-Wed, and go out and mow with a helper Thurs and Fri. I really liked that size. Now that I have a little more experience, I would like to get up to about 500 fert/spray clients and 100 mowing, 2 trucks, I do all the spray work myself, go out with the mowing guys a few times/month to keep quality good. That is my goal.

I have about 275 fert and squirt and 150 pest control accounts and I am busy for about 7 weeks and start over again. I couldn't imagine 1000.

I talked to a franchisor he said that its easy to get the first few hundred accounts, but that to get over the 1000 mark it takes systems that only a franchise can get you. I know guys on here will slam the franchise but honestly how many people on here can do over 1000 accounts without being a franchise, or have worked for a franchise and used their system?

In my town there is a company that is privately owned I'd say the man has been in business for around 20yrs he is servicing 4,000 plus accounts. I think he is running 6 rigs this year.

We have close to fifty accounts but around 45 acres mostly commercial I am hoping to get to where all I do is fert and squirt and my partner does the mowing.

1000 that would be sweet.

Im at 450 in 3 full seasons. I feel like I'm barely keeping up with equipment and staff upgrades required. Also spending more and more time with the PITA customers. Some people just gotta have their hand held, ya know?
