can you adjust the volume of liquid coming out of the tips with out changing the tips only getting like 14000 sf out of a tank

Your not using both D and L tips at the same time are you?
I don't know what could be wrong. How much overlapping are you doing?

I just WISH I had that high of pressure. Are we talking about a Magnum or Ultra? What is you swath width? I get about 40,000 sq ft out of my Ultra. There is a pressure regulator valve in either case. It is supposed to limit pressure to 10 pounds. Maybe it is malfunctioning or blocked. Look in the tank for back flow of excess pressure back into the tank--is it working? What ounces per minute flow rate do you get if you catch the outflow in a measuring cup?
