Cooler than Normal Ground Temps

Has anyone other than me noticed that the ground temp around SC coastal areas (Not Beach) are running cooler this year. Green up of lawns has been slower also. Generally by now most of the lawns are lush but look like just coming out of dormancy. Inland things are about the same.
Just an observation around Myrtle Beach.
We all are merely gleaners from the masters who were here before us.

Take a look at the national map of soil temperatures. It looks to be a bit cold in your area.

Don't place too much trust in the map--it says we shoud be about 50 to 55 in Michigan. But I measured 57 today--under turf in the shade, 2 inches deep, at 1 pm.

Kind of funny.

I use that map as a guideline, but lately it's been so far off.

Yesterday at sunrise, our ground temp was 39 degrees. Today the map says 50-55.
Give thanks, for all that He has given.
