Micro nutrients and PG Magnum

I was just wondering if anyone's running a micro nutrient mix through the Magnum?

I was looking at some when I was at my supplier the other day, liquid, but it was saying to have a carrier of 10-50 gallons of water per acre.

I know on my Magnum, I'm right at 48k per 11 gallons, so I'd be at the bottom of the scale as far as carrier, but we were trying to decide if you'd get an even enough coverage? Or if you'd have little specs.

Anyone running anything as far as liquid nutrients through their Magnum?

Two years ago we experimented with some liquid slow release fert 17-2-5 in one of the two PG's we used at that time.

We went in at first at a very modest 1/2 # N / 1000 sq ft rate.

The added weight of the liquid proved to be simply too hard on the pump...and it resulted in a reduced spray pattern...as well as a very hot pump, to the touch.

We later used chelated iron 12-0-0 in it, with Momentum herbicide (or whatever).
We didn't have any problem with that at all...probably because it is quite a bit "lighter weight" than the 17-2-5.
